The goal of the internship was to impart useful knowledge about how IT oversees and supports banking operations. I saw a variety of IT operations during this time, including data management, software support, network security, and system maintenance. Additionally, I learned about cybersecurity procedures, the core banking system (CBS), and the function of IT in guaranteeing efficient transaction processing and digital banking services, such as online banking, ATM services, and mobile banking apps. My understanding of how IT supports data security, operational effectiveness, and better customer service in the banking industry has improved as a result of my internship. It also shed light on how IT departments maintain system uptime, oversee network infrastructure, and fix technical problems to guarantee continuous banking services. All things considered, this internship expanded my understanding of banking IT architecture and increased my desire to work in digital banking systems and banking technology. This internship involved the development of two primary projects, one is Training PRO and other is DocuCraft Pro. Training PRO is an asynchronous Learning Management System (LMS) that uses Redis for real time progress tracking across various media formats. DocuCraft Pro is an advanced document processing tool which provides multi-method architecture like No OCR, Tesseract based OCR and GenAI based extraction to handle the complex structure of Bangla documents, specifically converting Bijoy encoding into standard Unicode. Beside the projects, the internship experience included working with the Business Analyst team, gaining Software Quality Assurance (SQA) knowledge and exploring Android development with Java. Technical exposure was also included with DevOps,Docker, CI/CD pipelines and Nginx for load balancing. Throughout the internship, technical challenges for example facing API limits, handling complex PowerPoint structures are overcome through resourceful engineering. The project was intended to develop a user-friendly, Web-based online shop based on WordPress, current frontend technologies, and WooCommerce service, due to the necessity of the company to have a better online presence. The web site aimed at increased interactions with the customers, simplified web-based orders and gave the administration ability to manage product listing, stock and customer communication. The process of development included a number of essential stages, and they were the gathering of initial requirements, designing, implementation, testing, and deployment. It has a responsive design enabling easy functionality on every device, has secure product catalog management and gateway(s) to make payments. Agile approach was adopted with the aim of sustaining the iterative process in the project, and the client was to provide regular feedback to the client to focus the website on their brand image and business objectives. Issues like debugging, compatibility with other systems, and optimizing GUI were met with problems in learning and close interaction with the developer team. The report has identified the technical capabilities acquired such as WordPress customization, principle of responsive design, and e-commerce functionality. It also highlights the significance of working as a team, communication, and cooperation with clients in the successful accomplishment of the project. The experience was useful as it gave me an opportunity to understand the practical use of web development, which would be grounded in future professional activities in the technology field. Throughout the internship, several real-world automation solutions were designed and implemented, including automated payment processing, Know Your Customer (KYC) onboarding, meeting scheduling with reminders, and weekly performance tracking systems. These workflows integrated multiple services and APIs, significantly reducing manual intervention and operational errors. An iterative Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach was followed to ensure continuous improvement, stakeholder feedback incorporation, and system scalability. Golam; Department of Computer Science and EngineeringThe work experience under the internship is recorded in this report, which is based on the position of a UI/UX Designer in the design of a Restaurant Point of Sales(POS) Design at Bdcalling IT Ltd. In particular, it demonstrates a case study of incorporating Human Computer Interaction (HCI) which focuses more on real world human users prior to the creation of interactive systems, but with the recent increase in the accessibility of large language models (LLMs) like Google Gemini, designers of user personas are evolving their views of the task. The paper presents a personal post internship research that presents a comparative study systematically of personas developed using real restaurant employees versus personas developed using Gemini of similar positions in a restaurant point of sale (POS) design. Based on HCI and UX literature on personas and synthetic users, the study develops and evaluates the hypothesis that Gemini generated personas can be used to approximate real user personas regarding the high level attitude and task objectives but it is systematically under representative of local infrastructural, organizational and cultural constraints. A structured questionnaire was used to gather new field data with the restaurant managers, cashiers, waiters and kitchen staff, and similar Gemini personas were generated by using detailed prompts to describe the same scenario. The most significant constructs included learning comfort with new software (1-5) and the rating of the importance of POS features (1-3) that were aligned among the groups and compared with the Mann Whitney U test that was adequate in the case of small and independent samples with ordinal Likert type data. Findings indicate that Gemini personas are quite close to actual staff on such large constructs as comfort with technology and the value of fast order entry and split bill support, and are more conservative in terms of the strength of issues relating to stock visibility, offline resilience and staff level accountability as reported by workers. The paper concludes that Gemini generated personas can be useful to jumpstart early HCI work, particularly when resources are limited, but it must be applied as a baseline and confirmed against actual user data before it is applied to make critical design choices in human centered software engineering. The system was built with the ability to transmit all the data in real-time with an increased level of reliability using such tools as React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and security protocol such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT. The user application supports parking location discovery, slot availability in real time, booking and payment, and profile dashboard. The admin system consists of control dashboard, parking slots management, user and booking management, and analytics. The work was done from a low fidelity prototype (light theme) to a high fidelity, dark SaaS design (blue-gray surfaces with teal/violet accents). The design process was based on an academic approach: requirement elicitation, creation, task analysis, rapid wireframing, component driven design, accessibility review and moderated usability testing. It focuses on developing an Asset Management Module that will replace the standard fleet module, enabling us to supervise assets such as laptops, desktops, and other office equipment. This module makes it very easy to assign assets, monitoring their status, and tracking maintenance. At the same time it offers easy access to historical data. Additionally, enhancements to the Employee Module has been integrated to streamline employee data management, onboarding, and asset allocation. A custom email server and notification system was implemented to automate alerts for new employees, project updates, and asset status changes, ensuring real-time communication across departments. With a redesigned UI/UX approach to improve navigation, mobile compatibility, and dashboard efficiency user experience remains a top priority. There are future plans to make the reporting tools better, link different modules with each other better, and automate the sytem to streamline business tasks. Odoo 17 is easy to modify and adapt making it a good alternative for managing resources, increasing productivity, and keep everything working efficiently. The main purpose was to help them get Permanent Residency Certificates more easily. Previously, people had to wait for months and deal with lots of paperwork. However, this new digital system will allow them to apply online and get their certificates within just a few days. The network was built using Cisco layer 3 switches, and Firewalls to ensure that the network is robust, scalable and secure. Key configurations include VLAN Trunking, Access Control Lists, DHCP setup, OSPF Configuration(for internal communication), BGP Configuration( for communication with the IIG network) and port security to mitigate common threats such as unauthorized access, spoofing, and DDOS attacks. The simulation successfully demonstrated a functional ISP network with proper traffic management redundancy and security policies. This project serves as a practical reference for implementing secure enterprise-grade networks using Cisco technologies. Ashraful; Department of Computer Science and EngineeringThe field of protein structure research has seen a significant transformation with the introduction of deep learning. Based on protein primary structure sequences, predicting secondary structures plays a crucial role in determining and understanding the roles of an amino acid sequence. Protein structural analysis was traditionally performed using time-consuming and sometimes imprecise technologies. We composed four types of prebuilt models - LSTM, RNN, GNN, ANN, etc, to predict secondary structures from different latest datasets of PDBbind and PISCES to understand the learning process HMM, Sequence embedding, and PSSM in a broader sense of machine readability. The q3 and q8 states of the secondary sequence are measured and analyzed for their distribution throughout the data set to comprehend their structural properties. In the post-AlphaFold era, these amino acid sequence data were theoretically capped at 94% accuracy. Our research hyper-optimized those approaches to find effective sequence prediction methods for better accuracy. Our optimized model acquired 0.9031 accuracy with impressive test results and custom evaluation metrics. This integration facilitates the relationship between protein structural properties to identify differences between protein learning models. Personalized treatment, drug development, and a better understanding of illnesses have all been made possible by the capacity to predict protein structures using these cutting-edge deep learning approaches reliably. However, it is important to use these computational models as a backup. Human expertise and domain knowledge are essential to interpret and validate data.
