Dc-dc converter is widely used in power electronics. It is used in different kind of Distributed energy sources such as solar cell, hybrid electric vehicle. For interfacing current of Micro-gird with main power grid we widely use dc-dc converters. The main task of the Converter is to step up or step down the input voltage depending on duty cycle. It ensures safety and power requirement. In our thesis we worked on Dc-dc bidirectional converter. It is mainly used to buck or boost input voltage. When battery is Lack of charge it will be charging from grid and when grid id off current will supply to the load and additional current to the grid with the help of bidirectional buck boost converter. For Smart grid technology, innovation in Bidirectional Dc-dc converter is one of the most essential parts.en_US
