Includes bibliographical references (page 47).
Proposal for building a wireless digital pen, which can work like a computer mouse, but more elegantly with the help of image processing (on MATLAB). This pen can be used for writing, painting in classrooms, conferences, at presentation etc. This pen contains two buttons just like a mouse, which is implemented by using two circuits, one is the transmitting circuit and other one is the receiver circuit. The pen will work in co-ordination using both the hardware and the image processing codes. The project includes a webcam which detects the Light Emitting Diode (LED) of red color which is placed on the tip of the pen within the detectable area of the webcam.en_US
