Abstract

This report explores the factors affecting employee satisfaction and turnover intention at BRAC Bank PLC. It aims to identify the key elements that contribute to overall job satisfaction and the reasons behind employees' intentions to leave the organization. The study employs a mixed-method approach, gathering data through employee surveys, interviews, and analysis of internal HR records. Factors such as work environment, compensation, career development opportunities, management support, and work-life balance are examined to assess their impact on employee satisfaction and turnover. Key findings indicate that a positive work environment, fair compensation, and clear career growth opportunities significantly enhance job satisfaction among BRAC Bank employees. Conversely, high turnover intentions are linked to factors like job stress, lack of recognition, and inadequate work-life balance. The report concludes by suggesting strategies for BRAC Bank to improve employee retention, including implementing wellness programs, enhancing recognition systems, and providing better career development opportunities. These recommendations aim to help BRAC Bank strengthen its human resource practices, resulting in higher job satisfaction and reduced turnover intentions.
