Abstract

The current internship report presents financial risk awareness within air logistics operations of Kuehne + Nagel Bangladesh Ltd. as a combination of practical internship experience and analysis of the organization and a specific research project. The paper sheds light on how the awareness of operational resilience to financial threats at the employee level affects operational resilience in a competitive logistical environment. In Chapter One, the internship experience of Rafsan Islam Nafiz, a BBA student of BRAC University, through the Air Logistics Department, between June and August 2025, is described. The intern was also involved in preparing airway bills, tracking shipments, cargo information, warehousing, and preparing the export statements. These activities helped to improve efficiency in operation and equipped the student with useful compliance, teamwork and professional communication skills. Chapter Two examines Kuehne + Nagel Bangladesh as one of the most popular multinational logistics providers. It looks into the history of the firm, its services, and management practice, which have focused on participative leadership, well-organized HR system, and effective IT integration. Brand reputation, worldwide networks, and expertise in compliance are strengths, whereas weaknesses consist of receivables management, over-reliance on garments and weak local marketing presence. The third chapter displays the study of employee financial risk awareness. According to survey results of 15 employees, they have a high level of direct risk awareness (Currency changes and late client payment) and a low level of indirect risk awareness (volatility of fuel and insurance liabilities). Formal training was found to be less influential than informal communication and work experience. Structured training, risk dashboards, better control of the receivables, and diversifying the client base to enhance financial resilience are the recommendations.
