Internship at Lexim Tex Industrial Trade Company Limited: Understanding the operational processes of various departments and recognizing opportunities for enhancements

Abstract

During my internship at Lexim Tex Industrial Trade Co. Ltd., a well-established company in the accessories industry, I had the opportunity to interact with five key departments within the purchasing team: zippers, buttons, fabrics, finance, and general purchasing. The internship ran from December 1st to February 28th, during which I faced various challenges daily, significantly enhancing my professional skills and personal growth. This report consists of the following four sections: 1.Industry Overview 2.Summary of Achievements in the Purchasing, Zipper, Button, Fabric, and Finance Departments 3.Critical Assessment of internship performance 4.Conclusion This report outlines the operations of each department, their strategic importance within the company, and their relevance to improving operational efficiency. It also identifies areas for improvement in strengthening teamwork and enhancing overall departmental efficiency. In addition to analyzing the company, this report also describes my own growth during the internship. I gained practical experience in the procurement process, improved my analytical and problem-solving skills, and deepened my understanding of how different departments can collaborate to drive the company's success.
