This report is based on a three-month professional internship in six departments at Triple Apparel Limited. The departments are Commercial and Accounts; Human Resources and Compliance; Industrial Engineering and Planning; Cutting, Sewing, and Finishing Section; Marketing and Merchandizing; and Supply Chain Department. This internship allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the function of the different departments and their interrelation. The report outlines the following sections: Chapter one highlights the overview, vision and mission and goals and objectives of the company. The report describes my tasks, activities, and responsibilities in the six departments during my internship, outlined in Chapter Two. In Chapter Three, I critically evaluated the internship activities by comparing the course outcome in PGD-KIM and examining the importance of specific functions of the respective departments, followed by the areas of improvement in the respective departments based on the internship experience. Chapter four concludes the report. This internship report also emphasizes that it enhanced my analytical skills and the potential to execute sample management, fabric sourcing and inventory more effectively. I believe this report also contributes to the positive change of the company’s various department, where necessary.
