Abstract

The purpose of this report is to fulfil the requirements of the (PGD-KIM) program at BRAC University's BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD). It focused on my observations and comprehension of the merchandising, testing lab and compliance divisions and blends academic knowledge with real-world experience. Key duties, leadership development, personal growth, decision-making skills, and the opportunities and challenges within these departments are highlighted in the report. It also illustrates how maximizing efficiency and performance can be achieved through teamwork on the production floor, effective communication, and buyer negotiations. I wanted to close the knowledge gap between academic study and practical business practices through this internship. In addition to enhancing my professional expertise, the experience benefited the company I worked for.
