The textile industry plays a vital role in the economy of Bangladesh, with continuous growth over the past decades. To support this expanding sector, institutions like the Bakshiganj Textile Institute have been established to train skilled professionals in textile production and fashion design. Located in a rural area, this institute offers specialized education with practical labs, workshops, and on-campus facilities to enhance hands-on learning. It serves both full-time and part-time students, making technical education more accessible to the local community. This thesis explores how Bakshiganj Textile Institute contributes to the development of the RMG (Ready-Made Garments) industry, uplifts rural education, and creates opportunities for youth in the textile sector.
