This internship report is based on the 3 (three) month and 1 (one) week internship program
which I was able to complete successfully at The ACME Laboratories Limited under HR and
Admin Division (Recruitment and Selection Team) from 01 September, 2022 to 08
December, 2022 as a requirement for my Master’s degree in business administration at
BRAC University.
The ACME Laboratories Limited is a pharmaceutical company which established in 1954.
The company is in the business of manufacturing and exporting medicines.
The objective of the report was to identify how the learned theories and concepts during the
MBA program is practiced in the recruitment and selection process at a pharmaceutical
company of Bangladesh like The ACME Laboratories Limited.
For preparing the report, both primary and secondary data were used. The source of primary
data were my day to day observation and the tasks I carried out during my 3 (three) month
and 1 (one) week internship program. The source of the secondary data was the Employee
Handbook of the organization, the company website and any relevant books.
The ACME Laboratories Ltd is one of the most renowned and top pharmaceutical companies
of Bangladesh. Their HR practices have helped them to achieve their goals. The purpose of
this report was to find how the recruitment and selection is done by the HR and Admin
division. In the report, some recommendations were also provided to improve the existing
process.
