dc.description.abstractIbuprofen is widely used NSAID which deals with the treatment of mild to moderate pain formulated in various dosage forms. But poor water solubility and poor bioavailability is the drawback of this drug. So currently available marketed dosage forms are given with a high dose and it can cause adverse reactions in long term use. Lactose, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) & Pluronic can enhance the dissolution rate of ibuprofen because all those excipients can enhance the solubility profile of ibuprofen in water. The comparison effect among these three excipients can be observed also. Precipitation crystallization technique is used to prepare ibuprofen particles to reduce the amount of dose. The experiment is done into two phase; particle preparation method (Crystallization) and dissolution method. The different dissolution time point indicates different dissolution rate for different excipients. All those contribute in lowering dose and increased the dissolution rate of ibuprofen in developed dosage forms like capsule.en_US
