dc.description.abstract | The thesis has been conducted to identify the level of satisfaction created by the new minimum wage structure published in January 2019 in the ready-made garment industry of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is the second largest apparel exporter in the world maintaining a world market share of 6.80%, China is holding the first position by maintaining a market share of 30.8%. The third position is occupied by Vietnam by maintaining a market share of 6.2%, India 4th position and its market share is 3.5%, Turkey is in 5th position and its market share is 3.2%. After the independence minimum wages was fixed in 1984, 1994, 2006, 2010, 2013 and in 2019. This is a tri-party effort of workers, owner and government to fix the minimum wage. This paper intends to find out the level of satisfaction created by the minimum wage 2019 in the RMG sector of Bangladesh. | en_US |
