dc.description.abstractThis study investigates the provision of teaching 21st century skills to the undergraduate students at a private university. The world is changing faster and to cope up with the modern world universities are constantly focusing on developing students’ skills that may require for the future jobs. These include communication skills, technological skills, collaboration skills and critical thinking skills. Using qualitative data this study investigates to what extent one of the leading private universities of Bangladesh is emphasizing on developing students’ 21st century skills. The study concluded that the university through its curriculum and teaching learning activities promotes 21st century skills and develop students’ 21st century skills. It also concluded that although students rely on memorizing to some extent, in most of the cases students are required to engage in activities in and outside the class and required to complete assignments and various tasks that are conducive to d which may be helpful to teach 21st century skills effectively.en_US
