| dc.description.abstract | This report presents an overview of the internship of Md. Shadiqul Mohib conducted at Lodestar fashion limited, A sister concern of Mid Asia Group. It’s a part of requirement for the post graduate diploma in knit wear industry management offered by BRAC university. This internship duration is 66 days. It provides valuable exposure to the operational, technical and managerial aspects of a woven garment garment manufacturing company. This report highlights the company’s various production range like- denim products, bottom wear, Outer wear, workwear and children’s garments. It covers the value-added processes and services provided by organization. Such as, fabric sourcing, washing, embroidery, cutting, sewing, finishing and compliance monitoring. During the internship the author actively participated in the sample room activities such as, garment measurement, dummy fitting, identifying sewing faults, proposing possible solutions and documenting sample through photography. The Practical engagement enhanced his technical understanding of fit development, product quality and process efficiency. The report analyzes key performance indicator of the company such as quality consistency, On time delivery, worker safety, environmental responsibility. In addition, it identifies potential areas for improvement, such as process integration and sustainability advancement, aligning with Mid Asia Group’s vision for continuous growth. | en_US |
