Abstract

This report provides an overview of my internship program in Prime Bank PLC, especially in its Student Banking Department, and strategic practices that determine its operations. This paper examines the organizational structure, management, marketing, financial and operational practices of the Prime Bank and a project based study relating Human Resource Management (HRM) and innovative work behavior as a way of ensuring better employee and intern performance. Results indicate that Primebank has a good reputation on its matters of compliance, customer service, and innovativeness, with an issue of potential paperwork-intensive procedures, and limited digital penetration. The main survey data based on the employees show that HRM practices like open appraisal and support of supervisors positively influence performance and innovative behavior results in efficiency and quality of service. The paper will end by presenting suggestions on how all training, digitalization, and innovation systems could be increased, which will cement the competitiveness of Prime Bank in the Bangladesh banking industry.
