Abstract

This report explores the balance between financial efficiency and employee productivity in tech companies when remote work is increased. The study was based on an internship experience at Be Data Solutions Limited, where both surveys and financial data were analyzed. Findings showed that employee productivity stays almost the same whether working remotely or on-site. Employees reported higher satisfaction and stronger willingness to stay with the company if remote work options were given. On the financial side, the savings from reduced office costs were offset by extra expenses such as cybersecurity, resulting in no major change in net income. Managers, however, remain cautious because monitoring and collaboration are harder in remote setups. The report concludes that a hybrid model, with both office and remote days, is the best option. It supports flexibility, teamwork, and cost stability without harming productivity.
