| dc.description.abstract | This internship report reflects my three-month-long experience as an HR intern at Uttara Group of Companies. It is one of the most well-established downsides of conglomerates, which is based in Bangladesh and deals with a variety of sectors and services, including. With the innovative leadership of its Board of Directors, the company has been constantly transforming itself to fulfill the requirements of the fast moving job market through implementing strategic talent acquisition strategies. This report aims to perform the study and analysis of talent acquisition strategies which are currently employed at Uttara Group so as to evaluate their compliance with current needs of the market and propose subsequent improvement on the basis of the academic and pragmatic experience. All the sources were both primary and secondary in the compilation of the report. The main information was collected through personal communication with the HR officials and the interview with employees as well as personal experience, being on the internship. The secondary data was obtained in the company web site, published manuals on HR policies, industry reports, and sources of scholarly literature. Findings from the report reveal that while Uttara Group has initiated efforts to modernize its talent acquisition processes including the use of digital platforms and university collaborations there remain challenges such as limited employer branding, slow adoption of data-driven recruitment tools, and inconsistent onboarding practices. It is with such understanding that various recommendations have been suggested to help improve the capacity of the group to recruit and retain the best talents in the current competitive labor market. | en_US |
