| dc.description.abstract | The core operations of any business underpin its investment viability. Consequently, the primary objective of an enterprise is to maximize profit by effectively utilizing people, machines, and resources. This achievement relies on employment processes, methods, sustainable development strategies, and maintaining a transparent and compliant business model that aligns with the company's goals. In my report on the Ready Made Garment industry, the primary conclusions drawn were that the sector benefits from a substantial labor force. Additionally, the government has rolled out various policies and incentives to foster the industry’s growth, including duty-free imports of raw materials and tax holidays. Nonetheless, the sector grapples with challenges like limited access to finance, inadequate infrastructure, and a deficit in modern technology and equipment. Such obstacles could curtail the industry's ability to innovate, improve quality, and enhance productivity. In concluding the report, I advocate for recommendations that focus on producing quality, bespoke products, fostering innovation, nurturing skilled human resources, implementing sustainable practices, encouraging international collaborations, and curtailing carbon emissions for the planet's well-being. | |
