The internship report reflects my three months long experience as an HR intern in AkijBashir Group. The company officially launched its operations since 6 March, 2023 with the joint effort of a team of experienced and highly skilled professionals with the aim of publishing new standards in the industry. The team is created under the Managing Director, Sk. Bashir Uddin's inspirational guidance. The objective of the report is to analyze the existing recruitment and selection process of ABG, identify the areas that need improvement and provide recommendations applying academic learnings. Both primary and secondary data is used for the preparation of the report. The source of primary data is my observation and personal experience during the internship at the company as well as the detailed discussions I had with the HR Director and Communications Coordinator of the company. Rest of the data is extracted from secondary sources such as company website and annual report, newspaper articles and scholarly journal articles. The findings of the report indicate that the current recruitment and selection process is extremely lengthy due to old fashioned HR practices and lack of manpower. Based on the findings, necessary recommendations have been provided for the improvement of the existing recruitment and selection process.en_US
