Abstract

This internship report summarizes my experiences as an intern in the operations-Learning and Development department of Daraz Bangladesh Limited. The paper also includes the company's overview and my project, "The Role of Technology in Training and Development Programs in the Ecommerce Industry of Bangladesh: A study on DARAZ". The overall goal of this research is to investigate how technology is employed in training and development programs at ecommerce organizations and to compare the effectiveness of various approaches. This report will go through the complete Learning and Development department and how they train ground level personnel using various forms of technology. The vast majority of the data comes from my regular perceptions and interactions with others. Additional information was obtained through the Organization's employee handbook, website, and pertinent materials, as well as interviews with department personnel. Moreover, by using secondary method we can get vast idea about Daraz as an organization and by using primary method like employee’s handbook, interaction and interviews here we are able to find out the importance of training and development department in enhancing employee’s performance in Daraz, what is the proper delivery method and end up by providing recommendation how we can use technology in more effective way in Training and Development Programs in the Ecommerce Industry of Bangladesh.
