Abstract
The talent acquisition tactics used by DMV IT Service, a US-based IT training and consulting company, are examined in this research. It covers important procedures including sourcing, screening, onboarding, and engagement and focuses on integrating the recruiting platform Workable into the hiring process.
The dual strategy used by DMV to place qualified applicants in IT positions and cultivate talent through bootcamps is discussed in the paper. It emphasizes employer branding, remote hiring, recruiting channels, and tools employed. Issues like excessive turnover and a lack of talent are examined. Suggestions for process improvement are based on secondary research and data from the internship experience.
