Abstract
This internship report is addressing the influence of HRM, Human Resource Management practices on the knowledge sharing behaviors in Bangladeshi context. Habib Bank Limited, HBL. Here I have drawn qualitative input from HBL BD, HR team and examination of its organizational processes. Also, this research concludes that a culture of connectivity, pre-emotive HR facilitation and the system driven convenience which are the key enablers of detailed and meaningful sharing of knowledge. HBL Bangladesh, is deeply entrenched in the culture of knowledge sharing and in the organization. They follow multiple HR initiatives and practices that help with this commitment. They are in the form of formal and as well as informal, such as monthly training, luncheon sessions, etc. The HR team works actively for the employees by answering their queries, providing information and knowledge, this ensures an informal chain of communication all over hierarchy. Technology enables smooth collaboration and ensures that all the information is up to date. Those are Microsoft Outlook, Teams, WhatsApp, etc. Also, HRIS, like Oracle and Empress, plays as a single platform where all employee data performance is heaped up, development and knowledge are maintained and can be accessible anywhere. As traditional HR practices suggest that we can pay people of offer training to get them to share their best practices, HBL Bangladesh here hold that trust with higher support, and with systems that are closely interlinked. This helps create a real and honest connection between HR and their employees and HR not only just administrative function, but HR as a partner of strategy in employee’s growth and stability. Today, in every organization, it is vital to have recommendations available to make further improvement, so the report ends with some straightforward recommendations to take HR to further the levels in enhancing the knowledge-sharing culture, leading to enhanced quality of human resources and performance of HBL Bangladesh.
