As an intern in BRAC International, I worked closely with the Finance Team of the organization where I observed the existing processes of how transactions are recorded and realized that automatizing some of these manual tasks will make the department much more efficient. As a result, this report focuses on the "Prospects and Challenges of Adopting Automated Record-Keeping Systems at BRAC International," with the aim of illustrating how automatizing the manual tasks can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. In this report, the prospects of adopting automated record-keeping systems are highlighted. With the observations I made in my internship tenure, I will first create a baseline of the current system of BI and then discuss where improvement can be made. Additionally, it mentions the benefits and challenges that the company can face by making changes to their software by conducting secondary research. Later, it explores how modifying the current system with more advanced technology could address the existing challenges the organization is facing and increase overall efficiency of the department. After that a thorough analysis was conducted, I drew my conclusions with recommendations. In the recommendations, I offered suggestions regarding what kind of improvements can be made and where each improvement has to be made.. This report presents a detailed evaluation of BRAC International’s current operations and provides practical suggestions for leveraging automation to achieve greater efficiency and effectiveness in their operations.en_US
