This internship report presents my learning experience during the internship at Disari Industries Ltd., a 100% export-based knit garment company under the Goldstar Group. The internship was completed as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Knitwear Industry Management (PGD-KIM) program at Brac University. During a 66-day period, I have been communicating with five major areas- Merchandising, Supply Chain, CAD-CAM, Sampling, and Production. The experience that I gained during this tenure included the practical aspects of order processing, production planning, quality control, and communicating with buyers. The report clarifies the operations of the departments, highlights important observations, and integrates academic knowledge with industrial practices. Moreover, it provides advice on possible improvements to the operations and considers my personal and professional growth. The internship significantly enhanced my understanding of the knitwear industry's structure, its challenges, and its opportunities in Bangladesh.en_US
