Report on Intimates Global ltd.

Abstract

This report presents a comprehensive overview of my internship experience at Intimates Global Ltd., a leading fabric marketing and sourcing company in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The internship provided practical exposure to multiple departments including Marketing & Business Development, Sourcing & Supplier Management, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain & Logistics, Finance, and Human Resources. Through hands-on participation, I gained insight into the complete fabric sourcing process—from buyer inquiry and supplier evaluation to quality inspection and shipment coordination. The report analyzes departmental functions, sequential workflow, and the integration of sustainability and compliance in textile sourcing. It also highlights key learning outcomes, challenges, and improvement opportunities such as digital integration, supplier performance analytics, and enhanced sustainability communication. Overall, the internship bridged academic knowledge with real world application, strengthening my professional, technical, and communication skills while shaping my understanding of global textile operations and sustainable sourcing practices
