Exploring nanotechnology applications in Breast cancer

Citation

Abstract

This thesis shows and gives us an idea about the knowledge of disease biology with developments in nanoscale advances to investigate the many uses of nanotechnology in breast cancer. The study opens with a review of the pathophysiology of breast cancer, highlighting the molecular and genetic abnormalities that drive tumor development and progression. It also categorizes the main forms and clinical phases of breast cancer, providing the biological and medical background required to assess new Nano-technological treatments. Building on this framework, the thesis investigates how nanotechnology is transforming the identification, diagnosis, and management of breast cancer. It also assesses the broader advantages of nanotechnology, such as enhanced selectivity and treatment efficacy, alongside its disadvantages, including potential toxicity and production complexities. Key challenges and limitations that range from biocompatibility concerns to regulatory hurdles are critically discussed.
