| dc.description.abstract | The report has been created to project the financial performance of Mentors’ for the next 5 years and suggest recommendations. The analysis is done through percentage of sales method, using mean average for sales forecast and POS method for other items. The report is divided into three sections. In the first section, the internship experience of the student has been shared. It includes job roles and responsibilities, student’s contribution to the company and also the learning outcome of the internship, and recommendations for both the organization and future interns. Following that, in the second part of the report, organizational details were provided. It included management practices of the company, marketing practices, financial analysis, accounting practices, operations management and information systems, and industry and competitive analysis. These are core part of an organization and gives a brief insight about how the firm operates and formulates strategies. This part of the report provides a brief idea about the company. For this part, secondary informations were used and they have been cited in the reference section. Upon successfully articulating the data, proper recommendations were provided on areas where the company is struggling. The last part of the project consists of the project part where the values that have been calculated in Excel have been shown. It also includes research methodologies, the objective of the project, significance, limitations and recommendations in the last part. There have been uses of primary and secondary data in this report. The secondary data used in this report have been cited properly in the reference section. The report has been made to fulfill the BUS490 course of BRAC Business School and provides a brief idea about the internship experience of the student. The report shall be beneficial for both future interns and the organization itself as it will help the company figure out its shortcomings/weaknesses and work on those areas. | en_US |
