Abstract

Banglalink Digital Communications Limited is among the top mobile service providers in Bangladesh, and its operations and performance depend on effective procurement to ensure the delivery of services and operations. Recently, the company has been reported to excel in procurement, having won CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) awards for its innovative practices. This report analyzes major factors of procurement, such as Supplier Onboarding, SRF-to-PR, and Bidding Time on Procurement Lead Time, which is assessed to determine the opportunities that can be used to enhance the efficiency of procurement. Internal procurement records were taken as secondary data, and hypothetical values were taken to avoid confidentiality. The Descriptive Statistics, ANOVA, and Multiple Linear Regression are used in the analysis, and the differences among groups are also analyzed to give a holistic picture of the procurement process. The findings show that these factors affect Procurement Lead Time, which subsequently impacts the overall procurement efficiency and operations at Banglalink.
