dc.description.abstractThis internship report explores the role of social media in developing brands in the ecommerce service sector in Bangladesh. The objective of this study is to provide insights into how e-commerce companies can effectively use social media to develop their brand and grow their business online. The report has conducted by a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative and quantitative research methods. A survey was conducted among 20 ecommerce companies in Bangladesh, and in-depth interviews were conducted. The findings of this study reveal that social media plays a significant role in brand development for e-commerce companies in Bangladesh. The study shows that e-commerce companies that actively use social media are more likely to experience higher brand recognition, increased website traffic, and higher customer engagement than those that do not use social media. Based on the findings of this report, we recommend that e-commerce companies in Bangladesh should develop a strong social media strategy that aligns with their brand identity, target audience, and business objectives. They should invest in creating high-quality content, engaging with their audience, leveraging influencers and user-generated content, and monitoring and measuring their social media performance. Overall, this internship report provides valuable insights into the use of social media for brand development in the e-commerce service sector in Bangladesh. The results of this study can be used by e-commerce companies in Bangladesh to develop effective social media strategies that will contribute to their success in the highly competitive e-commerce industry.en_US
