Abstract
This study explores the impact of the Electronic Data Interchange integration on reverse logistics efficiency and revenue distribution lead time in the Bata Shoe Company based on the year 2025 with 32 week data. The quantitative findings of the report were created through the descriptive, correlational, and visual data analysis. Most of the time, the results were not significant. The relationship between EDI and processing speed was weak, whereas the relationship between EDI and accuracy or lead-time stability was non-significant. In the event of a significant effect, the effect was small, which justifies the fact that the relationships were not operationally significant. The findings revealed that there is a necessity to have differentiated digital adoption approaches and process alignment, data quality, and channel-specific implementation. The limitations encompassed measurement limitations of the moderating variables, aggregate data on weekly basis and contextual based findings on a single organization. All in all, the paper outlines the relevance of contingency-driven and process-driven digital strategies and recommends additional study with longer horizons, cross-firm data, and more qualitative data to make better decisions regarding supply chain digitization.
