The primary focus of this internship report is to show the experiences I gained during my internship at Dhaka Bank PLC, which lasted for three months. The most prominent banking system in Bangladesh at the present time is Dhaka Bank Plc. They contribute to the banking system the highest level of excellence. The purpose of this report is to investigate The Dhaka Bank PLC's recruitment and hiring procedures in order to better understand them. In order to identify the most qualified applicants, they have a hiring process that is of high quality. Additionally, the improvements that can be made to the company's hiring procedure were identified as part of the enhancement process. The preparation of this report is accomplished through the utilization of both primary and secondary sources of information. The primary source of data is comprised of my observations and first hand experiences gained during my internship at the company, as well as the in-depth conversations I had with the communications coordinator and HR director of the company. The remaining information is derived from secondary sources such as articles published in newspapers and academic journals, as well as the website and annual report of the company. The findings of the report primarily indicate that their current hiring system is effective; however, the process can be a little bit lengthy at times, which can cause candidates to lose their commitment to the process. The reason for this is that they continue to use out dated HR policies and criteria, which means that the hiring system is not very effective. According to the findings, the most important recommendations for improving the existing process of hiring and selecting candidates have been provided.en_US
