Abstract
Square Group is a Bangladeshi diversified conglomerate based in Dhaka, which
was founded by Samson H. Chowdhury in 1958 & Samuel S Chowdhury is now the
chairperson and Tapan Chowdhury is now the managing director of Square Group.
Nowadays, Square Group has almost 60,000 employees & it is the parent group for
Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd, which is a Bangladeshi multinational pharmaceutical
company. Founded in 1958 mainly by Samson H. Chowdhury along with three of his
friends named PK Saha, Kazi Harunur Roshid and Radhabinod Rai and all of them
established Square Group as a private firm. They have their headquarters in Dhaka.
