This report provides the analysis of the Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) system within The Daily Star and emphasizes its effect on the data accuracy and the administrative control. As one of the largest media houses in Bangladesh, The Daily Star manages a variety of fixed assets. These assets require efficient management for smooth operation and financial compliance. The paper compares the previous record keeping systems with the modern asset management system and points out the progress made by the organized asset validation and reconciliation procedures. The results show that the ALM system considerably minimized discrepancies in records of assets, enhanced documentation, and enhanced interdepartmental coordination. The system also served a significant purpose in post mob-attack insurance claims since the system facilitated rapid access to correct asset information and retrieval. Altogether, the report shows the role of digital asset management systems in providing efficiency in operations, audit preparedness, freud/theft elimination and financial accountability in large organizations.en_US
