Internship as sub-editor at Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha

Abstract

This report highlights my internship experience at Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the national news agency of Bangladesh. Interning at such a prestigious organization provided me with the opportunity to work with seniors who had years of experience in the field of journalism. During the internship, I was engaged in desk based tasks such as proofreading, editing, editing slugs, introductions, headlines and translated news articles from Bangla to English. These responsibilities enriched me as a person. Overall, the internship at Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha strengthened my understanding of media operations and equipped me for future professional engagements.
