| dc.description.abstract | This internship report evaluates the financial performance and going-concern position of Union Capital Group, a listed non-bank financial institution in Bangladesh. The analysis is based on five-year consolidated financial statements covering FY2020–FY2024 and applies ratio analysis, trend, horizontal, and vertical analysis, DuPont decomposition, valuation indicators, and regulatory-prudential metrics. This report further conducts going-concern assessment in correspondence to BFRS IAS 1, BSA 570 and Bangladesh Bank’s CAMD framework. The analysis shows operating losses, liquidity constraints, equity erosion, and increased dependency on recovery-led measures. The methodology of the research is only secondary based. The report concludes that Union Capital Group requires successful asset recovery, funding stabilization, and capital restoration under supervision to align with the going-concern accounting principle. | en_US |
