Analyzing the current scenario of Bangladesh stock market: a perspective from IDLC Securities Limited

Abstract

In this report I have tried to portray the recent performance of Bangladesh stock market during the tenure the of my internship. Being a research intern, I had to keep a close eye to the movement of Bangladesh stock market so in this report I tried to summarize that information while collecting data from different sources. In the first part of the report describes the background of my internship, role and responsibility and the outcome of the internship. In the second part, I have included the overview of the organization, structure, core values and strategic objectives to provide a clear picture about the organization. To portray the financial performance of the organization, ratio analysis has been done. Apart from this, human resource management, recruitment process and marketing strategy has been described. Lastly and most importantly, I have analyzed the overall performance of stock market based on different industry performance, share price movement and tried to find out how the market is influencing by different macro micro factors. Stock market moves continuously this report only reflects the overview of performance from May-August 2023.
