Abstract

This report aims to fulfill the internship requirements for the BBA program, enabling students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world corporate scenarios. To start with, this report aims to collect information, observe, and demonstrate the significance of HR systems in Chevron Bangladesh's daily operations, providing an overview of the organization, its history, and its operations in Bangladesh. Furthermore, this report provides an overview of the learning and development duties performed by the Chevron Human Resources department. It analyzes the pre-pandemic and post-pandemic approaches to help Chevron executives become skilled and resourceful in making long-term business decisions and reducing risks. All of the data was collected through conversations and first-hand knowledge from working with Chevron Bangladesh's Human Resources team, processed, and structured based on interviews during my three-month stay in the host organization. The report was created with the non-disclosure agreement signed with Chevron Bangladesh, ensuring that the information in the report does not impact the security and privacy of the data.
