Epyllion Group behind the seams: An internship study on some functional departments

Abstract

During my internship in Epyllion group I get opportunities to work with various departments. I completed my internship in 66 days in 5 departments including Industrial Engineering, Marketing & Merchandising, Production, HR& Admin and Quality department. During my internship I have done various tasks like capacity studies, production follow up, non-productive time tracking, and line layout follows up in Industrial Engineering & Production departments. In Marketing & Merchandising I assisted with buyer communications, product pricing & input data in ERP. In HR& Admin I observed & learned of job recruitment & on board, training, employee wellbeing etc. In Quality department I learned the importance of quality assurance in every step of production system.By working in various departments, I can relate academic knowledge with practical experience. This learning enriches my professional & personal skills & thus can help me to become world class manager in future. Then the objective of PGD-KIM will be fruitful.
