Abstract

This paper seeks to establish the effects of stress and burnout on the performance and output of employees of Dhaka Bank. Based on survey data generated from qualitative interviews with the workers, some of the difficulties reported are sidewalk balance, workload blending, and lack of adequate resources. Despite nurturing a partially congenial culture and promoting well-being at the workplace, Dhaka Bank’s shortcomings in communication and provision reinforce stress. The research highlights that stress has a detrimental impact on the attainment of goals, job satisfaction, and personal well-being, stressing the importance of improving work-life balance initiatives at work. These are changes in policies in matters concerning flexibility at work, utilization of resources, and other measures that fulfill the psychological needs of the workers and the enhancement of productivity within the organization.
