Abstract

Tangail has very rich culture, history and heritage. 351 years ago, the history of Tangail stated with a dighi (waterbody). People used celebrate all cultural activities in Santosh. Jomidaar and British ruled Santosh for many years and build many religious, political, educational buildings here. In 1932, Moulana Bhashani came to know the truth behide all illegal activities and taxes. Moulana Bhashani fought for the community people and worked for their development. In the meantime he built a Darbar hall in Santosh in 1970, which played an important role in many movements of 1971. Moulana Bhashani was a great leader who did many movements and development for this county. The passing of years is making people forget the contribution of Maulana Bhashani. This project will revive his center through his philosophy, which will become one of the centers of the nation.
