Abstract

The report is based on the internship experience at Ezzy Group and it focuses on the topic “The Relationship between Work–Life Balance and Employee Engagement at Ezzy Group”. The report consists of three chapters. The first chapter is about the internship experience and responsibilities. The second chapter is an overview of Ezzy Group. The third chapter is dedicated to the research project, during which data was gathered using a google form survey with employees from Ezzy Group. The results of the study indicate that the work–life balance is a significant factor that affects employee engagement. Employees who had a reasonable workload, supportive supervisors and a positive work environment were identified as more motivated and emotionally engaged in their work. However, higher stress and over workload increased employees' intention to leave the organization. The report ends with recommendations which can increase employee engagement at Ezzy Group.
