This report describes my internship experience at One Plus Knitwear Ltd., where I had the opportunity to observe and learn about the operational activities of a knitwear manufacturing factory. The internship helped me understand how different departments work together to complete garment production for international buyers. During the internship period I rotated through several departments including merchandising, supply chain management (SCM), knitting, cutting, sewing, quality control, finishing, packaging, industrial engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, and compliance. Observing these departments helped me understand the full production chain starting from order development and raw material sourcing to final shipment preparation. The experience helped me connect theoretical knowledge from my PGD-KIM program with real industrial practices. I also learned the importance of communication, teamwork, production planning, and quality control in meeting buyer requirements and shipment deadlines. The chapter-1 introduces the background and purpose of the internship program. It explains the importance of industrial training in bridging academic knowledge with practical industry experience. The chapter also outlines the objectives, scope, and methodology of the internship, as well as a brief overview of the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector in Bangladesh. The chapter-2 introduces the background and purpose of the internship program. It explains the importance of industrial training in bridging academic knowledge with practical industry experience. The chapter also outlines the objectives, scope, and methodology of the internship, as well as a brief overview of the Ready-Made Garments (RMG) sector in Bangladesh. The chapter-3 describes internship activities and departmental experience. It explains the key responsibilities, processes, and operational activities observed in departments such as Merchandising, SCM, Knitting, Cutting, Dyeing, Printing, QC, Finishing, Packaging, IE, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, and Compliance. The chapter highlights the workflow and coordination between departments in the garment production process. The critical assessment of internship experience in Chapter 3 evaluates the internship experience by analyzing what went well and what challenges were observed in each department. It identifies operational strengths, areas of improvement, and factors affecting efficiency and productivity within the organization. The learning outcomes and application of academic knowledge explains how theoretical concepts learned in academic courses such as Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Production Planning, and Quality Management were applied in real industrial practices during the internship. Recommendations and Self-Improvement presents suggestions for improving factory operations, management practices, and productivity. It also reflects on personal learning outcomes and identifies areas for self-development and future career growth. The Chapter 4 concludes the report summarizing the previous three chapters.
