Bangladesh is facing tremendous challenges in the traffic sector in the last decade. The capital city Dhaka is one of the most densely populated cities in the world. With the rising number of vehicles and the increasing population, traffic infrastructure development has proven to be a big hurdle to overcome. The need for digital infrastructure has added to the existing challenges of traffic infrastructure management. New technologies like Digital Twins can play a vital role in this scenario. A digital twin is the virtualization of a physical infrastructure. This technology has been adopted in many countries for its cost-effectiveness and versatility. Using a digital twin of the traffic network is now crucial to effectively manage and monitor the traffic infrastructure of Dhaka. This research explores a dynamically simulated traffic environment in a Digital Twin of an area in Dhaka and a customizable platform tailored for traffic infrastructure focused on traffic flow in Bangladesh. The digital twin aims to simulate potential intersection scenarios to showcase granular insights into various types of traffic, including commuter and vehicular traffic, and tries to signify the high-traffic zones. An AI model will be specifically trained to detect traffic data and used as the basis for the traffic simulation. This traffic data paired with behavioral coding of cars will create a realistic traffic simulation with synonymous scenarios. It will target the virtualization of groundwork and turn intersections into simulated desk environments to reduce the need for extensive practical experimentation. Rather, it will focus on speculative experiments that can later be implemented in real-world environments to be determined feasible.en_US
