The Modern Architectural Renaissance of Comilla Town Hall envisions transforming a 137 year old cultural landmark into a dynamic fusion of heritage and contemporary design. Standing at the heart of the city, this historic treasure has witnessed generations of community life, celebrations, and significant events. The project proposes innovative architectural interventions that honor the building's rich legacy while introducing modem functionality and sustainable solutions. Through thoughtful design strategies including sunken spaces, integration with historic ponds, and barrier-free accessibility, the project aims to create a vibrant cultural hub. The historic water bodies are reimagined as connecting elements, linking the townhall to its surroundings while preserving the site's ecological heritage. The design carefully balances preservation with progress, incorporating sustainable technologies and adaptive reuse approaches that respect the original architecture while meeting contemporary needs. This architectural renaissance celebrates Comilla's heritage through modern design principles, creating spaces where students, artists, and community members can gather, learn, and create. The project demonstrates how historic preservation and architectural innovation can work together to revitalize a beloved community landmark for future generations.en_US
