Abstract

The report was completed by conducting extensive research from gathering both primary and secondary data from all the relevant sources. At first, a brief overview about the 3-month long internship program was conveyed in the report. The internship program addressed the experience that I had with Dhaka Bank during the tenure of program. Secondly, the report addressed details on key different areas of Dhaka Bank starting from its origin, management marketing, information systems, financial and accounting aspects. To justify, Dhaka Banks position as a large successful organization operating for decades in the country. Lastly, through the analysis of different objectives in chapter three and regression model testing helped us conclude that indeed depleting foreign reserves are hampering Dhaka Banks import payments (LC) opening capabilities and any other foreign currency related transactions which impacts banks profitability and liquidity.
