Abstract

The internship provided practical exposure to recruitment, onboarding, attendance management, data entry, and employee file organization, bridging theoretical knowledge with real workplace practices. The report also analyzes the organization’s structure, operations, and competitive position within Bangladesh’s pharmaceutical sector using SWOT, PESTEL, and Porter’s Five Forces frameworks. A key focus of the study is identifying barriers to effective data collection and organization in implementing Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS). Major challenges include high implementation costs, limited technical expertise, resistance to change, inadequate infrastructure, and data security concerns. Empirical findings reveal that top management support, IT support, and technological readiness significantly influence HRIS adoption, whereas financial support alone is insufficient. The report concludes that successful HRIS implementation requires strong leadership, skilled personnel, and improved technological capability. These insights provide implications for organizational development.
