Abstract

I have been recruited as a Finance Intern at Dongjin Longervity Industry Limited. I have analyzed the market feasibility for introducing a lithium renewable battery storage system in Bangladesh. The nation’s energy demands have been increasing. There are possibilities of supportive government policies for renewable energy in the future. On the contrary, electricity costs have been rising. Thus, the lithium renewable battery market has potential growth opportunities. Dongjin has good networks with engineering firms, biomedical equipment manufacturers, and government projects. Thus, the company can think about introducing renewable energy storage solutions. Nevertheless, a complete analysis provides major opportunities and challenges. Regulatory unpredictability, huge initial investment costs, technological adaptation challenges, and economic instabilities affect consumer behavior and are the major challenges in this regard. Furthermore, environmental awareness regarding battery disposal as well as uncertainty regarding supply chain carry probable risks. Though these challenges linger in the corner, my analysis shows that going into this market would align with Bangladesh's sustainability goals. In the long run it will benefit Dongjin. To achieve the goal, Dongjin needs to focus on selecting strategic partners and exhaust their existing resources. Dongjin Longervity Industry Limited may avail a big piece of cake in the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions. They should foster an environment of long-term growth and profitability. This analysis will shed light on these vital points.
