Abstract

My internship at Dhaka Bank PLC is described in this report. All of the material required for the internship is contained in the first chapter. Throughout my internship, I was given particular tasks to complete in order to gain my first work experience in an organisation inside the firm. The paper also conducts a complete analysis of the organisation, elucidating its organisational structure, marketing strategies, management styles, & operational processes while evaluating the impact on overall operations. In order to determine the company's position in the market & identify major advantages, disadvantages, possibilities & threats, it also conducts a comprehensive competition study using Porter's Five Forces & SWOT analysis. Based on the insights gained from competitive research, the report also makes significant recommendations for enhancing the business's competitive advantage & encouraging long-term growth. The effect of HR procedures, particularly training and development, on employee engagement in the banking sector is examined in third Chapter of this research. It describes the study's design, data gathering strategies, and analytic tactics as well as the research methodology. The chapter talks about how training initiatives improve workers' abilities, drive, and contentment at work, which eventually raises engagement levels of Dhaka Bank PLC. It also looks at how career development programs & chances for further education may help create a dedicated workforce. This chapter seeks to demonstrate a direct correlation between better worker efficiency in the banking industry & efficient training methods by examining employee perceptions & engagement measures.
