Equity research report on Renata PLC

Abstract

This report contains information about my internship experience at Prime Bank Investment PLC., one of the finest Merchant Bank in Bangladesh. I worked there under the Research department as a Research Intern for 12 weeks. Throughout my tenure, I came up with the idea of preparing my equity research report on Renata PLC., a company in an industry I researched multiple times during my work there. I have divided my report into three parts. Firstly, Chapter 1 contains my experience and responsibilities at the company. It covers mostly my job responsibilities, things I have learned, and recommendations for the company. Secondly, Chapter 2 contains information about PBIL. It covers information about their active departments, how they operate, their mission, vision and achievements. I have also prepared an industry analysis on them. Thirdly, Chapter 3 contains information about my equity research on Renata PLC. All the data collected was secondary information from different sources including their Annual Reports, DSEBD and so forth. The main objective of this report is to understand their business, the pharmaceutical industry, and whether to ‘BUY’ or ‘SELL’ the shares of this company to whom it may concern. Finally, I conclude the report by giving a ‘BUY’ signal to all whom it may concern, as the company has competitive moats.
