Abstract
This report is based on a partial requirement of the Bachelor of Business Administration
degree at BRAC Business School as the internship experience of Mumtahina Billah in
the Human Resources Department of Bitopi Group in the period between December 2025
and March 2026. The major HR functions that were undertaken during the internship
included screening of CVs, management of recruitment database and creating internal
communication materials. The host organization, Bitopi Group, is one of the leading
Bangladeshi conglomerates with a notable presence in the Ready-Made Garments
(RMG) industry, boasting of LEED Platinum-certified, zero-waste manufacturing plants.
The report also introduces an original research study that looks at the role of the synergy
of Industry 5.0 technology adoption, top management commitment, and workforce
training in driving environmental performance within a Green Supply Chain Management
(GSCM) framework, which is interpreted through the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) theory.
The results indicating that these three variables are mutually reinforcing pillars
strengthening each other reveal that the findings are based on qualitative interviews with
seven RMG industry experts.
